1951 Mercury

This Merc is a sweetheart , with an all original body painted in a beautiful BMW red . They certainly were'nt cheap on the chrome back then , and this 2 dr. Coupe has a ton of it . Basicallly looking quite stock on the exterior other than tinted glass and very nice mags and tires . For a large car it carries itself well , so I would have to give this new type of air ride suspension a passing grade . One thing HRC did notice is how functional the system works , being able to adjust the firmness of your ride while driving .

No doubt this is one heavy rod , so Werner dropped in a 383 stroker with a 4:71 blower . A very clean engine compartment , every component on the engine in chrome . Running the power through a 700R4 automatic trans. Putting the power to the ground with a Camaro rear end , with 3:71 gears (posi.) .

Sitting on a nice set of Foose 17" rims on Dunlop 245/50 low profiles . Very nice looking and surely helps this car on the corners . It also has upgraded frnt. disc brakes .

A nice combination of red and black leather interior , with a very funtional custom console that runs from the front to the back . Having power bucket seats frnt. and back , with a nice gauge cluster . It definetly has a unique custom interior . With all the comforts you would expect , PS , PB , PW and of course air for those hot summer days . Good job !
