1938 Ford Deluxe Coupe
The first time HRC took a picture of this rod , it was 1999 candid S&S . Since then Lionel has changed one hell of alot actually everything .
Starting with the body , which he completed in 2004. Looks excellent with Cadillac pearl over a deep purple . A very bold paint scheme over a beautifully straight clean steel body.
The interior which was just completed , is in leather and cloth . The matching color on the dash looks great , with classic instruments . White leather every where , new cloth roof with a darker carpet . New weather stripping , door handles , a sharp looking LeCarra steering wheel . With new power buckets from a Celica , tilt , cruise , pwr brakes and steering . It has a JVC stereo for tunes and tinted windows .
A very clean organized motor compartment , with polished aluminium where the fire wall had to be altered to fit the Chevy 406 crate . Very nicely done with chrome braided lines , air filter , polished valve covers , Edelbrock intake and headers . You must agree that big block fits in there just fine .
The power goes to a TH 350 auto. , with a 10 bolt rear . The frnt. end is a Mustang 2 .
The car sits on a set of American racing rims .
With a set of Cooper tires ; 195 70 14 frnt. , and 225 70 14 on the rear .
