Just before the Grand Prix Edmonton 2005 , there was talk of a race in this city over 30 years ago . The track Edmonton International Speedway , the CAN/AM series was equal if not better than formula 1 at the time . The track itself was a work of art with a straight away over a 1/2 mile long , HRC does'nt know who built and designed the track . But for its time had everything a major track had and a drag strip ! And all the big names went on to have great futures in F1 and the Indy . The only photos I have are ancient , HRC had to dig deep for these few shots.
