It was a beautiful day for racing, track temp. 112 degrees F. blue sky
all day with a white cloud here and there. One Canadian did very well
Tim Boychuck in his Firebird put on a show in the final with a record
setting run, with a 5.81 at 247.38 (both records). All Andy Beauchemin
could do from his Mustang is watch.
We had chances in several other classes Pro Nostalgia A home town racer
was close too, Joey Steckler came in second to Ron Sekura by inches a 6:99
to a loosing 6:94 hows that for a close racing.
The other close call to a iron man was in Nitro Bike, Ken Kent up against his
long time rival Jason Arkinstall stole it again ripping it up with a 6.672 to
a loosing 6.816.
There was action from one of the classes to the other for full results go to Castrol raceway
If you were not there here is some wild shots I think you will like.
