Nitrobike 2006 - Finals

There could'nt have been a nicer day . Not to hot just around 21c , very slight wind you just new some records would fall today . And fall they did with a new official top fuel track record of 6:47 . Taking abit longer than HRC expected for the times to drop but ok , lets say by the end of 2006 . Someone is going to hit a quick high 5 second pass , where , when ? But come on guys dont make me look bad (laugh) . Less than .5 of a second is off my mark for this year , and HRC is pretty sure were going to see it soon .

You may ask why HRC is paying so much attention to bikes ? Well #1 get the myth out of your mind about this just being a bikers party . But if you are going and not expecting to see one , that would also be silly . This is a highly technical sport for any one of us that want to hall ass . What I can see is a new era in Top Fuel , where a car is going to cost you in the millions . Having a Top Fuel bike would probably be a tenth of that , still not for everyone . But getting into to a price range , where companies might have the spare change at one tenth the cost ?
